Fusion Medical Staffing a travel nursing provider seeks a PACU RN for a 13‑week assignment in Melbourne, FL. The role will begin on 06/23/2025 and will involve 40 hours per week with 8‑hour day shifts.

• 1+ year of recent experience as a PACU RN
• Valid RN license in Florida
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications
• Additional relevant certifications or licenses

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients transferring from the operating room.
• Monitor vital signs, consciousness, and recovery status.
• Administer medications and treatments per PACU protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Provide individualized patient and family education, including discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgical and other clinical teams to ensure comprehensive post‑operative care.
• Operate and monitor PACU equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations using PACU standards and protocols.

• Critical thinking and strong interpersonal communication.
• English reading, writing, and verbal communication proficiency.
• PC skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lb), and perform necessary tasks.
