Additional Parameters: Health First Careers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team in the Progressive Care and Med Surg units, providing exceptional patient care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies, working closely with physicians and other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self‑care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Progressive Care or Med Surg units.
- BSN degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
