Job Title: Front Desk Reception & Kennel Technician

Reports To: Kennel Manager / Owner

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Front Desk Reception & Kennel Technician. This role is a blend of customer-facing responsibilities and hands‑on animal care. The ideal candidate is professional, detail‑oriented, and passionate about providing excellent care to both pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities Front Desk Reception Duties
  • Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Schedule appointments, check pets in/out for boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services.
  • Process payments, maintain accurate client records, and manage reservations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners about their pet’s needs, progress, and care.
  • Handle questions, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism.
Kennel Technician Duties
  • Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring overall health.
  • Exercise and supervise dogs during playtime and outdoor breaks.
  • Administer medications and special diets as directed.
  • Keep the facility clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to management.
  • Assist with baths, grooming, and training sessions as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer service or animal care preferred, but not required (willing to train the right person).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
  • Must be dependable, detail‑oriented, and compassionate toward animals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Weekends and Holidays required
  • 30-35 hours per week
