STOREROOM/DELIVERY (FULL TIME)

Holmes Regional Medical Center – 1350 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, 8‑hour shift. Every other weekend off; details will be provided during interview.

Pay Range: $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying departmental supplies and foodstuffs, and maintaining sanitation in storage areas.

• Inventory and maintain necessary food and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Store food and supplies in correct containers and proper storage areas according to department guidelines and spoilage prevention.
• Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards.
• Label and rotate stock according to FIFO procedures.
• Order food and supplies based on product specifications, following company ordering protocols.
• Secure designated areas to prevent theft, hazardous chemicals, or equipment loss; follow all security procedures.
• Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure safe arrival.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
• Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to appropriate resources.
• Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies on time.
• Identify and use cleaning chemicals per manufacturers’ directions and MSDS sheets; use equipment per safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
