Job Purpose

Creates an outstanding customer experience while directing and supervising all functions, duties and activities of the front end.

Job Summary

Ensures that all current customer service, cash control, labor control, expense and supply controls, asset protection, maintenance, physical safety, food safety, associate and customer engagement policies are being followed.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Overall Customer Satisfaction (OSAT) – gauges the customer experience in each area of the business.
  • Produce Scanning – ensures customers are correctly charged and reduces shrink.
  • Items per Bag – measures potential overspending of bags.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Store Leadership – Leads and empowers teams to deliver a great shopping experience, communicates open feedback channels, demonstrates exceptional customer service.
  • Fiscal Leadership – Assists in managing the fiscal budget, inventory, shrink, expenses, and cash control.
  • Department Leadership – Trains and coaches team on all KPIs, customer service, product knowledge, safety and sanitation.
  • Associate Leadership – Responsible and accountable for hiring, training, and onboarding new associates.
  • Safety and Compliance – Adheres to all regulatory compliance requirements and cultivates a culture of safety.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Preferred Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • Language(s) – English;
    English and Spanish preferred.
  • Supervisory Experience – 3–6 years.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing and background check.
  • Proficient with computer applications used in department operations.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days.
  • High standard of integrity and reliability.
Environmental Factors

Retail – Location Management:
Physical demands include standing, walking, manual dexterity, lifting up to 250 lbs.

Travel & Shift
  • Occasional overnight travel.
  • Varied shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and closing shifts (at least one closing shift per week).
