Job Description As a Security Officer - Distribution Security Clearance in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, support access control measures, and communicate professionally with all individuals on site.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
* Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when necessary to address and resolve incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
