REPORTS TO: Project Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage electrical and low voltage projects and installations
- Cable management and documentation
- Install building technology, specifically AV/IT systems, building automation controls, IT networks
- Perform inventory management of equipment and transport to jobsite in a safe and secure manner
- Provide leadership assistance to other technicians as required
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience installing and troubleshooting Electrical/Low Voltage Systems (Journeyman's License preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction methodology and commercial structured cabling.
- Systems knowledge and experience with IT networking, Access controls, CCTV CMS, VoIP and VTC Communication Systems.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety and OSHA regulations
- Strong computer skills to manage project reports - This is a must - Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
- A passion for technology and self-initiative towards continuing education
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently and in team settings
- Proficiency in MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS Office
- Adaptability to technology advancements and changing project requirements
- Ability to drive a company provided fleet vehicle.
- Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Be able to regularly climb, descend and work from ladders or lifts up to heights of 25 feet.
- Ability to work with a safety harness in bucket or boom lift.
