Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Software Engineering 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in Melbourne, FL or in Palmdale, CA
.
You will be the product owner of a product team collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams, such as Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, Dev Ops, and Systems Test, in an Agile software development environment. You will oversee and review system capabilities that resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
Essential Functions:The successful candidate has experience with development, modification and maintain customized or standardized embedded Mission Systems applications using software engineering best practices and standards. Experience in the full life-cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance. Differentiating characteristics include demonstrated leadership, teamwork capabilities, excellent oral and written communications skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in successfully improving organization AND program processes and procedures.
Git Hub, Git Lab, Jenkins, and/or Atlassian tool suite.
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (MS) Azure, or Google Cloud within the last 3 years.
