Tutor - Business Certificate Program

August 24, 2026 to April 30, 2027 (820 hour contract)

Opportunity
Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Instructor Aide (Tutor) for our Business Certificate program in Melfort, SK. This is a part‑time, term position starting the above dates. Under the direction and guidance of the Coordinator, Post‑Secondary Education, the instructor aide will provide tutorial or instructional assistance to students, help them achieve their learning goals in the Business Certificate program, support the cohort in Melfort, and coordinate tutoring sessions and connections to lectures delivered out of Yorkton.

Responsibilities
Providing tutorial or instructional assistance to students.

Conducting tutoring sessions for the Melfort Business Certificate cohort.

Ensuring students are successfully connected to lectures delivered out of Yorkton.

Requirements

Relevant one‑year post‑secondary education, preferably knowledge of adult education methodology or the business program area.

One year of practical, related experience in a similar classroom role and one year of work experience in a business environment.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross‑cultural environment.

Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License.

Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
