Position: Facilitator for ESL Conversation Circles
Enhance community integration as a Conversation Circle Facilitator, focusing on helping newcomers master conversational English for daily living. Create a supportive environment that encourages social connections and language practice.

In this role, you will assist learners in developing their listening and speaking skills while enriching their English language proficiency. You must foster a welcoming atmosphere conducive to socialization, ensuring participants feel comfortable engaging and learning together. Collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt learning strategies to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist learners in conversational English practice

• Create a welcoming group environment for socialization

• Develop and implement effective learning activities

• Assess students’ language needs and progress

• Innovate to address challenges faced by adult learners

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma with one-year facilitating experience

• CERTSEL Accreditation or ESL learning experience preferred

• Effective communication with diverse cultures

• Experience in a cross-cultural educational setting

• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
