As an Account Manager in the professional services industry, you'll handle financial accounts and ensure everything runs smoothly for clients. Based in Melksham, this role supports the accounting and finance team to deliver accurate and timely services.

Description

Manage client accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and supporting HMRC compliance requirements.
Assisting with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
Supporting payroll processing and maintaining payroll- related records where required.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
Provide clients with advice on accounting and finance matters.
Handle queries and resolve issues related to client accounts.
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain compliance standards.
Monitor account performance and suggest improvements where needed.
Ensure all documentation is completed and filed properly.

Profile

A successful Account Manager should have:

Experience in accounting or finance-related roles.

Experience of acting as a key point of contact for clients
AAT, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification/experience
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
A solid understanding of professional services and client management.

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £29,500 to £30,000, dependent on the level of experience.
