As a Relief Support Worker, you will work across our services, supporting adults with a learning disability and/or autism to live an independent, fulfilling life. You will receive full training, ongoing support and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within social care, while making a genuine difference every day. No two shifts are the same, offering a varied and rewarding role where you can develop your skills and build meaningful relationships with the people you support.

You will support individuals with all aspects of daily living, promoting independence and choice. This includes shopping, meal preparation, attending appointments, swimming, days out, cinema trips, social events, hobbies, and helping them access their local community while encouraging them to achieve personal goals.

Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and could include:

• Helping someone develop new skills and independence.
• Providing personal care and emotional support.
• Supporting people to manage their own home.
• Supporting people to access leisure activities, employment and education.
• Assisting with travel and community involvement.
• Promoting choice, dignity and independence.
• This can be a fun and rewarding role, but at times it can also be challenging and demanding.
