At M Group Highways we support the safe transportation across the UK. This role is for the Wiltshire contract in Wilton, Salisbury reporting to a Supervisor.

As a Parish Steward you will be part of our Highways operational delivery team responsible for maintaining the highway network in Wiltshire.

Responsibilities include:

• Work safely and ensure personal safety and that of others
• Carry out checks of plant, equipment, and vehicles, completing reports
• Liaise with the Divisional Highways Office, Parish and Town Councils to identify and agree works programmes
• Undertake maintenance of highway drainage features, signs, street furniture, carriageway and footway defects
• Clear highway obstructions
• Repair minor defects and report major defects
• Maintain daily record sheets and accurate data entry into HIAMS using a tablet
• Respond to out‑of‑office hours emergencies per roster and participate in Winter Service and OOH operations

• Competent in using computers and tablets
• Flexible regarding hours, attitude and tasks
