We are seeking a multi‑skilled registered theatre practitioner. The successful candidate will maintain our pace and drive, thrive in the peri‑operative environment, adapt to change, work collaboratively in a busy multidisciplinary team, and consistently provide high‑standard quality care to patients. The role includes active involvement in staff appraisals, and training and development of nursing, ODP, ATP and HCSW staff.

Shift patterns involve day shift, out‑of‑hours and on‑call commitment.

Applicants must possess EPP clearance and be registered practical theatre staff.

As of 1st April 2026, the full‑time Workforce Plan will reduce the standard working week from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted pro‑rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate to keep pay unchanged.

Due to legislative changes effective 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom; sponsorship may be considered where the employer is a licensed sponsor and the post meets the minimum salary threshold.
