Position
The City of Melrose, MN is seeking applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants must be POST licensed or POST eligible to be licensed by the time of appointment.
Qualifications and Requirements- POST licensed or POST eligible for licensing by appointment.
- Flexible to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends; officers get every other weekend off.
- Must pass a background check, physical exam, and psychological exam.
- Salary range: $35.71 - $42.51 per hour DOQ (2026).
- Own squad car.
- Numerous training opportunities.
- Uniforms provided.
- Fully paid health insurance and up to $200 match for HSA.
- Union membership with LELS.
