The roles! We have two openings for Direct Support Professionals at our Main Street Residential Program in Melrose, MA:
- Position 1: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Main Street Residential Program
Location:
Melrose, MA
Pay rate: $18 - $21 per hour based on program and certifications
Hours:
20 per week
Shifts:
Monday – Friday (5 am – 9 am) - Position 2: Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Main Street Residential Program
Location:
Melrose, MA
Pay rate: $18 - $21 per hour based on program and certifications (Weekend shifts receive an additional $2 per hour)
Hours:
16 per week
Shifts:
Saturday and Sunday (5 am – 1 pm)

The Direct Support Professional is an integral role in our Residential Services, responsible for providing direct care and teaching life and social skills to individuals with developmental disabilities within their homes and in their communities.
- Help individuals attain independence in all aspects of daily living (cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.)
- Assist individuals in developing positive social skills, attitudes, and behaviors appropriate to community living
- Maintain confidentiality of all information relating to individuals within our residential homes
- Provide personal care and assistance consistent with individual needs as they strive to reach their goals
- MAP certification highly preferred; MAP training offered
- High school diploma required (BA degree in Human Services or related field preferred)
- At least one year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- Passion and dedication to supporting our people are a must
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Must pass company background and reference checks
