We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician – ABA Services to join our team at Champions ABA - MA, a leading provider of in-home and community-based ABA therapy in Melrose, MA. As a Registered Behavior Technician – ABA Services, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission to discover each individual's potential with compassionate, flexible, and collaborative therapy.
About the Role:As a Registered Behavior Technician – ABA Services, you will work closely with our team of licensed therapists and behavior analysts to design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst
- Collecting and recording data on client behavior and progress
- Assisting with daily living skills and personal care tasks
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and their families
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve treatment goals and improve client outcomes
- Implement and maintain behavior intervention plans, including communication, social, and adaptive skills training
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, including observations and graphical data analysis
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and dressing
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families through clear communication and empathetic listening
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including licensed therapists and behavior analysts, to achieve treatment goals and improve client outcomes
- Registry Board Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., ABA, psychology, education) preferred
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in a related field (ABA therapy, education, psychology, etc.)
- Availability to work PART TIME schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Competitive hourly rate of $22 - $28 dependent on experience
