We are recruiting for the role of Service Advisor on behalf of a well-established, family-owned automotive dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Service Advisors seeking flexible working hours within a reputable and growing business. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional who can deliver excellent customer service and support the automotive aftersales process effectively.
Benefitsof the Service Advisor:
- Up to £37,000 salary including bonus
- Flexible full-time or part-time working arrangements
- Monday to Friday shifts, starting at 10:00am or 12:00pm, finishing at 6:00pm
- One in three Saturday mornings, 8:30am – 1:00pm, with time off in lieu
- Additional hours available for holiday and absence cover
- Occasional morning collection and delivery opportunities

- Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing customer bookings and vehicle check-in at the workshop
- Advising customers on necessary repairs and recommended services
- Preparing cost estimates and timescales for repairs
- Upselling additional services via vehicle health checks
- Preparing invoices and explaining completed work to customers
- Processing customer payments
- Quotations and sales of service plans
- Completing vehicle handovers and performing follow-up customer contact
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supporting the wider Aftersales team as required
- Working towards departmental targets and deadlines to ensure operational efficiency
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade
- Strong knowledge of automotive aftersales processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organisational and administrative competence
- Confidence in using computer systems
- Professional and motivated approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full clean driving licence
