Maintenance Manager

Alexander Steele are delighted to be partnering once again with this wonderful business, our client are a well established multi-site food manufacturer. They have asked us to assist them in the recruitment for a Engineering Maintenance Manager for their Leicestershire manufacturing operation.

The manufacturing base of the business has seen some significant growth due to recent investment. Due to this they are looking to bring in a high calibre individual who will have full site maintenance responsibility at both a day to day & long term strategic level.

This role forms part of a dynamic leadership team, which is leading the business through an exciting period of growth and expansion and you will have a great opportunity to put your stamp on this role, continue to evolve & establish the best ways of working & continue to develop a high level of maintenance engineering standards.

What's on Offer

 * £60,000 - £65,000 base salary

* Bonus

* 6% matched pension

* Private Medical

* This role is a permanent Mon - Fri days based role

The Candidate

* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship and / or Engineering Technical Qualification Level 3 or above

* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in engineering leadership within manufacturing (FMCG sector).

* Experience in developing and implementing PPM and improvement strategies

* Commitment to continuous improvement and developing team capability

* Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to work effectively under pressure, with strong attention to detail, , resilience, and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.

* Good organisational, communication, with the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with independent and rational decision-making skills
