Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Operator role
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will:
- Day to day operations on the Anaerobic Digestion plant
- Being part of an on call rota
- Operating the plant using SCADA/DCS systems, ensuring performance is stable via the control screens
- Completing routine site checks, reading and sampling
- Visual inspections and fault finding on plant and equipment
- Carrying out first line maintenance, such as basic isolations and component changes
- Feeding fuel/feedstock into the plant using hoppers
- Operating a telehandler on site
- Supporting the depacking (training provided)
- Ensure that health and safety is adhered to at all times, without fail
- Perform any housekeeping duties that need doing
- Other duties as required
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Telehandler licence or proven experience using and driving a Telehandler
- Demonstrable experience of working alone and in upholding great H&S standards
- Experience in an anaerobic digestion or agricultural, production or process environment
- A relevant Engineering degree is desired but not required
- UK driving licence
The Plant Operator role would suit someone who is:
