The role An opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support general haulage and distribution operations from a site in Melton Mowbray.

This is a temporary night-shift position offering weekly pay. Key responsibilities Carry out HGV Class 1 deliveries and collections safely and efficiently Complete vehicle checks and report any defects or issues Secure loads and ensure goods are transported in suitable condition Follow planned routes, delivery instructions and relevant transport procedures Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism Comply with drivers hours, tachograph and road safety requirements Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category CE Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) Digital tachograph card Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations Reliable, safety-conscious and punctual approach Ability to work independently during night shifts Clear communication and professional manner Benefits £750 to £1,000 per week Paid every Wednesday Visibility to local employers Temporary night-shift opportunity in Melton Mowbray Apply today.
