The role An opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support general haulage and distribution operations from a site in Melton Mowbray.

This is a temporary night-shift position offering weekly pay. Key responsibilities
• Carry out HGV Class 1 deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Complete vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
• Secure loads and ensure goods are transported in suitable condition
• Follow planned routes, delivery instructions and relevant transport procedures
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety requirements Skills and qualifications
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
• Reliable, safety-conscious and punctual approach
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
