About All Purpose Ltd
All Purpose Ltd is a fast-growing wholesale distributor supplying cleaning chemicals, catering disposables and kitchen equipment to some of the UK’s leading hospitality and food service businesses.
Following a recent management buyout, the business has real momentum behind it. It’s a tight-knit operation where people pull together, get things done, and are looked after in return.
If you want to be part of something that’s building rather than coasting, this is a good place to be.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll keep the distribution side of the business running smoothly, from receiving incoming stock through to loading vans and getting orders out the door on time.
You’ll work across the full warehouse operation, reporting into the warehouse supervisor, with occasional cover for driving duties when the team needs it.
This is a really exciting time to be joining the Warehouse Operations at All Purpose, with new Warehouse Management software on the horizon.
What You’ll Be Doing
Receive, check and code incoming stock, flagging anything damaged or short
Pick and pack orders for both carrier deliveries and in-house drivers
Help load vans and get drivers out on time
Unload deliveries safely using the forklift
Complete daily forklift safety checks
Carry out regular stock counts to keep inventory accurate
Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy and safe
Cover driving duties when needed
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
A clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet throughout the day
Strong attention to detail and accurate stock handling
Useful, not essential:
A current forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) - training available if not held
Experience with stock control systems
A background in food service, catering or hospitality supply
Benefits & Culture
Financial: £12.71–£13.21 per hour

Permanent contract with a business coming off the back of a management buyout and actively investing in its team.
