Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities & Duties Perform monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis to maintain accurate financial records.

Conduct balance sheet trend analysis and prepare detailed financial reports.

Monitor assigned accounts for financial exposure and escalate concerns proactively.

Research and resolve account variances and exceptions efficiently.

Execute month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.

Test general ledger backup to ensure system and data integrity.

Support physical inventory and fixed asset audits with thorough documentation.

Assist team members and managers with special projects and initiatives.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new accounting procedures.

Senior Accountant

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA license preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years preferred in accounting roles.

Proficiency in GAAP standards and ability to research authoritative pronouncements.

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems and tools.

Audit experience with large regional or international public accounting firms preferred.
