Put your career into high gear with Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices! We are seeking a full‑time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Melville, NY area.

With over 2,000 locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Automotive alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly‑mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel. Mavis's alignment technicians also complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 1 year of experience or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires (or equivalent)
• State inspection license preferred

Physical requirements:

standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, repeated movements, and lifting or moving items weighing over 50 pounds.
