Superintendentswillberesponsibleforoverseeingalldailyfieldoperationstoensurepropersitesafety,construction,progress,andqualitycontrol.

• Provide guidance,leadership,mentorship,anddirectsupervisionofsitestaff,includingassistantsuperintendents,laborersandotherconstructionrelatedpersonnel.
• Managementofschedule,includingweeklypreparationof2-weeklookahead.
• Proactivelyscheduleandcoordinateallsubcontractorstoensurecompletionoftheprojectinaccordancewiththeprojectscheduleandtoensurethatnoadditionalcostsarerequiredforcompletionofwork.
• Coordinateandscheduleasphaltmaterialfromplant,assuringpropermixdesignsareusedandquantitiesaretrackedandreleasedasnecessary.
• Developcomprehensiveunderstandingofprojectstrategyandcommitmentsincludingfinancialgoals,scheduling,logistics,phasing,milestones,and inspections.
• Managelaborforceandusage.
• Coordinateequipmentneedsandusage.
• Ensureassignedjobsiteoperationsareincompliancewithdesign/specifications,completiononschedule,withinbudgetandtoqualitystandards.
• Demonstrateandmaintainefficientandopendialoguewiththeprojectteamregardingchangesinwork,job conditions,subcontractorrelationsandanydeviationinthedirectionoftheproject.
• Workinpartnershipwithprojectmanagementtomaintainanupdatedandaccurateprojectschedulethatreflectsthechangesinprojectstatusandthatmeetsthecostandtimerequirementsoftheproject.
• Runweeklymeetings,includingprojectandsubcontractormeetings.
• InitiateRFIprocess;consistingofthecreationofandsuggestionsonsolutionstositeissues.
• Exceedclientexpectationsforeachprojectbyunderstandingclientneeds,wants,preferencesandculture.
• Continuouslypromotepositivesubcontractorrelationsbydealingprofessionallyandfairlywithallsubcontractorsandvendorsinstillingthisphilosophyinprojectteam.
• Maintainandreviewpunchlistprocesstoensureallareaddressedandexecutedinatimelymanner.
• Managecloseoutprocessandwarrantyresponseswithprojectmanager.

• 5-10yearsofexperience.
• BS/BAinEngineering,Architecture,Construction Management,orcommensurateexperiencepreferred.
• Excellentcommunicationabilities,including writing,speakingandactivelistening.
• Knowledgeofconstructionbudgetingbestpractices.
• Effectiveleadershipabilities,likemotivation,goal-settingandconflictmanagement.
• Organizational skills,includingtimemanagement,delegation,prioritizationandmultitasking.

Compensationrangeforthisroleis $115,000-$190,000.
