As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for Engineering Interns to join our team in Melville, NY.
This role is hybrid - 3 days a week on-site.
ResponsibilitiesEngineered Materials (EM)
As an Intern on the Engineered Materials Team, you will work within one of the following areas.
Analytical Identification Review: Apply chemistry and materials science knowledge to review and interpret analytical laboratory data, compare results with established material information, and support material identification and ongoing surveillance of certified materials and products.
Wire & Cable Certification Engineering: Learn how wire and cable products are evaluated and maintained under certification by reviewing product constructions and materials, determining applicable evaluation and test requirements, analyzing laboratory results, and supporting ongoing surveillance activities to help confirm continued compliance.
- Plastics Certification Engineering: Learn how polymeric materials are evaluated and maintained under certification by reviewing material properties and technical documentation, determining appropriate evaluation and test requirements, analyzing laboratory results, and supporting ongoing surveillance activities to help confirm continued compliance.

- Materials Science / Biochem / Electrical / Mechanical / Chemistryor related major
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.
What we offer:
Total Rewards:The hourly rate for this role is $27.00. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus to assist with housing, travel, and other relocation expenses, subject to terms and conditions. Your internship will consist of a 10-12 week long project, networking, learning & development opportunities, and will provide you with the opportunity to make a real world impact.
