Tax Senior Manager, Alternative Investments

Join BDO USA as a Tax Senior Manager, Alternative Investments. In this role, you will provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients involved in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure client compliance with tax authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.

• Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.

• Manage client data collection and communication of missing items.

• Lead and coordinate with team members on complex engagements.

• Deliver high-quality federal, state, and international tax compliance services.

• Manage engagement budgets, billing, and collections.

• Develop and maintain client relationships, and assist in business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics (Master’s preferred).

• 8+ years of relevant tax experience, including supervisory roles.

• Experience with Alternative Investment funds and partnership taxation.

• CPA, Attorney, or EA certification required.

Additional Skills

• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in tax software and research databases preferred.

Salary Range

Varies by location, e.g., California: $146,000 - $200,000;
New York City: $175,000 - $205,000, etc.
