The HR Shared Service Center Specialist serves as the central first point of contact for all Catholic Health employees seeking HR‑related information and support. This role manages inbound inquiries via phone, email and case management system, providing accurate, timely, courteous responses related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other employee services. Additionally, the specialist oversees the Tuition Assistance program and assists with HR related projects.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for general HR‑related inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave management, etc.
- Document all inquiries and resolutions accurately in the HR case management system (Neocase).
- Route complex or sensitive issues to appropriate HR subject matter experts or departments.
- Guide employees through self‑service tools.
- Administer the Tuition Assistance program, track applications & payments, and act as liaison between employee, local HR and payroll.
- Assist with general administrative duties (e.g., scanning and indexing documentation through OnBase).
- Ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards regarding subpoena of records and benefit termination letters.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in HR support, shared services, or customer service roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive employee interactions.
- Prior experience with Lawson and Neocase a plus.
- Experience with employee benefits, payroll processes, and HR compliance regulations.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources.
- Commitment to excellence in service and performance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to elevate issues appropriately.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of employee information.
- Team player.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships and influence others.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Onsite.
USD $28.00 – $30.00 per hour.
