The Manager, New Product Launch (NPL), is responsible for the executional leadership of technical deliverables across a portfolio of product launches. Acting as a bridge between formulation platforms, product development, and manufacturing scale‑up, this role ensures timely, cost‑effective, and robust execution of assigned initiatives. The NPL Manager independently leads projects of moderate‑to‑high complexity and collaborates cross‑functionally to ensure readiness across claims, formulation, packaging, and operational scale‑up.
The role requires strong technical acumen, effective prioritization, and the ability to coach junior scientists while building relationships across R&D and brand functions. The Manager also contributes to internal process improvement efforts, platform feedback integration, and early alignment with key stakeholders. As a team leader, the role supports talent development through performance coaching, technical guidance, and ongoing feedback; reinforcing a culture of scientific rigor, curiosity, and executional excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical execution of assigned NPL projects from development hand‑off through scale‑up and launch.
- Ensure project deliverables meet technical targets including claims, stability, manufacturability, and regulatory compliance.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, escalating issues with recommendations, and collaborating to resolve blockers.
- Own documentation including batch records, formula specs, stability plans, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Coach and develop junior scientists, supporting technical problem solving, project planning, and career growth.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Platform, Packaging, PD, and Brand to align expectations and delivery plans.
- Track and communicate execution status, challenges, and learnings clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Contribute to internal process improvements (e.g., GCAPS, Cornerstone, TQP, RDS) that improve team agility and output quality.
- Model best practices in lab safety, data integrity, and quality compliance.
- Support SR&ED tracking by documenting time and technical scope in collaboration with the broader team.
- University Degree (BS) in Chemistry or Engineering.
- 7 Years of experience.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $ to $. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results.
