Litigation Attorney

Position Overview

Our client is a well‑established law practice with offices in Long Island and New York City. The firm focuses on foreclosure defense, landlord‑tenant matters, and real estate litigation, representing clients throughout the region in a fast‑paced, high‑volume legal environment.

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow within a dynamic practice. This role is ideal for an individual who takes initiative, learns quickly, and thrives in a collaborative yet fast‑moving legal setting. The attorney will handle court appearances, develop case strategy, and provide direct client representation across a range of litigation matters.

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, legal research, and briefs across foreclosure, landlord‑tenant, and real estate litigation matters.
• Develop and execute legal strategies while providing direct client advisement throughout the litigation process.
• Represent clients in court, attend hearings, and travel locally for appearances as required.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines, filings, and court requirements are met.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case handling.

• Admitted to practice law in the State of New York (active and in good standing).
• 1‑3 years litigation experience preferred; experience in foreclosure or landlord‑tenant law is a strong plus.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client interaction.
• Reliable transportation for local court appearances and travel between office locations as needed.
