Cnc Lathe Machinist

Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem-solver with a background in machining, a good understanding of G-code, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to perform a variety of machining operations, including turning, facing, boring, and threading, according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to determine part dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices.
• Adjust machine feeds and speeds to optimize cutting performance and ensure part quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure proper function and safety.
• Utilize and interpret precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Salary: $56,000 - $72,800 per year

Shift: First

Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
