As a Security Officer Cosmetic Warehouse Control Access Patrol in Melville, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing, production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
