Position Overview
Responsible for planning, arranging, and tracking freight movements while supporting inventory reconciliation. Ensures efficient shipments, accurate inventory records, and smooth logistics operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proactive, and clear communicators.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and arrange freight (LTL, FTL, small parcel, international).
- Negotiate rates and select cost-effective carriers.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and resolve delays.
- Communicate shipment updates to teams and customers.
- Maintain organized logistics files and relationships with partners.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for data accuracy.
- 2 years' experience in logistics or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of freight modes and logistics terminology.
- Experience with inventory management or ERP software.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer systems.
