Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant at Evolve Bank & Trust

The Staff Accountant will provide financial support to designated operating areas regarding month‑end close, account reconciliation, journal entry posting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and other projects as assigned.

• Prepare and record monthly journal entries.
• Prepare detailed account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Prepare financial data with SQL and or Power Query.
• Analyze revenue and expense variances to determine accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
• Prepare management reports utilizing financial and statistical data.
• Prepare reports using Power
  
  BI.
• Assist with various related projects as requested.

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• 2-3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or Master’s preferred.

• High level of accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness.
