Overview

The Property Administrator plays a vital role in enhancing the resident experience by delivering exceptional service. By assisting Property Managers and ensuring that daily tasks are completed promptly, they help create a thriving community.

Responsibilities
  • Act as primary point of contact for First Key Residents, managing Zendesk tickets, in‑person office visits, and following up on all resident contact requests to resolve open inquiries and deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure that rental payments are posted on time and assist Property Manager with the collection and delinquency efforts.
  • Assist Property Manager and Renewals Department to achieve resident retention targets.
  • Conduct a Resident Journey move‑in touch point and oversee mid‑lease touch points to ensure a successful renewal experience.
  • Assist future residents with the transition into their home by providing necessary guidance, collecting move‑in funds, ensuring move‑in orientation is scheduled, and sending move‑in codes.
  • Resolve HOA violations and city citations through partnership with the HOA and Compliance departments.
  • Schedule all municipal inspections, completing necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with area municipalities such as rental licensing, certificate of occupancy, and point of sale.
  • Engage in outreach campaigns to residents throughout the duration of their lease term.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1‑year experience in an administrative or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Yardi Voyager or similar property management program.
  • Experience working in property management, real estate or a similar industry.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth company.
  • Proficient in Spanish, both reading and writing.

  • Primarily working indoors in an office environment.
