Responsibilities- Track and monitor the maintenance of Drive Time vehicles.
- Perform inspections and collaborate with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall quality.
- Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards.
- Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution center for retail.
- Record daily inventory of vehicles arriving from auctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized area to avoid spills and hazards.
Skills and Abilities
- Comfortable operating all vehicles at the Reconditioning Center.
- Ability to conduct inspections and maintain detailed, accurate records of vehicle condition.
- Familiarity with company standards and ability to uphold cosmetic standards.
- Commitment to safety, eliminating hazards for oneself and teammates.
- Effective teamwork with management and staff to decide on repair or reject of inventory.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate a vehicle and equipment.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 60 pounds.
- Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and protective garments.
- Capability to reposition oneself in tight spaces beneath a vehicle.
- Strong communication with internal customers in English.
- Mobility throughout the workplace to access machinery and vehicles.
- Tolerance for varying temperatures, noise, humidity, and fumes from vehicle maintenance.
