A dynamic opportunity exists for a Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned reconstruction projects. This role encompasses comprehensive project lifecycle management, including client communication, vendor management, procurement, scheduling, budget control, financial reporting, safety compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. This role will include residential and commercial reconstruction projects. This role is commission with a guarantee on annual wages.
Experience will set the wage amount for the first year.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the crews and timelines of as many projects as you can handle effectively with a strong support team around you. You will manage the whole process of finding and managing subcontractors, some of which will be provided but if you have a group of subcontractors you are used to, that would be a plus.
Responsibilities- Manage site personnel and subcontractors, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and environmental regulations and proper contract/subcontract execution.
- Perform contracted work to the highest industry standards.
- Approve/reject invoices with clear communication.
- Accurately project, record, and maintain project costs within budget.
- Meet or exceed revenue and profit margin targets.
- Track and manage change orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The work environment varies from quiet to moderately loud. The role requires the ability to regularly lift/move 25-50 pounds, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, talk, and hear. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and sitting may be required.
Requirements- 5+ years of full-time construction project management experience. Restoration or construction.
