Construction Project Manager

Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience with construction project bid documents, with a focus on delivering cost-effective solutions for complex commercial projects.

• Study and understand scopes of work for sophisticated commercial-level building systems and controls.
• Verify compliance with bid instructions throughout the bid process, obtain all necessary documentation, and submit a complete bid packet on time.
• Perform quantity take-offs for self-performed work.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to confirm scope of work and materials quoted meet bid documents and project requirements.
• Prepare competitive bid packages for a variety of clients.
• Prepare contract startup templates, permits, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Generate a master schedule for projects with input from the VP of Operations and Project Superintendent(s).
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices monthly and prepare owner invoices based on work completed to date.
• Manage projects to completion while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule.

• An Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Building Construction, or Architecture Degree.
• 2–5 years or more of commercial construction experience as a field engineer, assistant project manager, estimator, or project manager.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening is REQUIRED.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa support, now or in the future.
