The medical director should be a charismatic, skilled leader with a track record of supporting excellent patient outcomes, fostering program growth, and ensuring compliance with UNOS and OPTN rules and bylaws. The current transplant program boasts an active practice in deceased donor adult and pediatric liver transplantation. There is an existing foundation within the current program to build upon to re-initiate the living donor liver transplant program.
