Overview

Wake Med Physician Practices is a multi‑specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Established hospital‑owned orthopaedic group is adding a third full‑time BC/BE orthopaedic Foot & Ankle physician to manage a full range of foot & ankle injuries at our offices in the north region of Raleigh, NC.

Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency program in addition to a foot and ankle surgery fellowship and be board certified/eligible. Level 1 orthopaedic call is supported by orthopaedic surgery residents and physician assistants and is 1:10 with even distribution of weekends and holidays. You’ll have the opportunity to practice full scope of foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma.

There is ASC ownership opportunity and access to excellent referral sources. This growing practice currently includes 24 physicians, 35 APPs, physical and occupational therapy departments, an experienced staff, and eight office locations in greater Raleigh. Primary coverage at Wake Med Raleigh Hospital with access to two ambulatory surgery centers.

Responsibilities

Manage a full range of foot & ankle injuries and practice full scope of foot/ankle surgery, including hindfoot/ankle reconstruction and trauma. Provide ASC ownership opportunity and access to excellent referral sources.

Education

Doctor of Medicine Required

Experience

Fellowship/Internship/Residency related area required

Licensure & Credentials

Licensed Medical Physician and board certification in area of practice required
