Job DescriptionGenitourinary Pathologist – Memphis, TN
Our Memphis, TN Laboratory is seeking a Genitourinary Pathologist with general surgical sign-out. This pathologist will be one part of a two-person collaborative team. The case mix will include prostate, urinary bladder, urine cytology, and general pathology specimens.
ResponsibilitiesOur Memphis, TN Laboratory is seeking a Genitourinary Pathologist with general surgical sign-out. This pathologist will be one part of a two-person collaborative team. The case mix will include prostate, urinary bladder, urine cytology, and general pathology specimens.
Qualifications- Pathologist with 2+ years experience post fellowship preferred, but not required
- Medical Degree (Required)
- Board certification/Board Eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology (Required)
- Subspecialty Genitourinary Fellowship at an accredited facility (Preferred)
- Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of TN or ability to obtain licensure. Ameri Path will provide assistance obtaining other state licenses. (Required)
- Interest in Digital Pathology and Artificial Intelligence (Desired)
- Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations
- Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization
