Description
We are currently seeking MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) candidates specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, contributing to the success and growth of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal issues.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to identify digestive system disorders.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with various gastrointestinal conditions.
- Performing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Providing education to patients regarding their gastrointestinal health and treatment options.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Participating in continuous medical education to stay current with advancements in gastroenterology.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Call
Shifts:
Required - Facility: Level I Trauma Center
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certification: Required
- Will consider H1/J1 candidates
- Competitive salary based on experience plus RVUs
