Job DescriptionThe University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), College of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery, is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor.
ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties of the position include:
Clinical duties (UCH) and Academic Plastic Surgery:
- Provide care for plastic surgery patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting
- will be engaged in the academic and educational missions of the institution
- develop a practice focused on aesthetic surgery
The successful candidate will participate in the education of medical residents, fellows, postdoctoral scholars and students.
Qualifications- Candidate must be Board eligible/Board certified
- Candidate must be committed to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching and research
- Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery is desirable but not required to be considered for the position
- Necessary teaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to network effectively.
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
