About the Facility  This inpatient facility maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services on an on-site basis, with coverage need arising from the retirement of a full-time employed interventional cardiologist. The facility is structured to accommodate day shift, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage, with RN and Fellows support available to assist clinical operations.

Infrastructure is in place to ensure continuity of inpatient cardiac care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.
About the Facility Location  The assignment area offers clinicians access to a range of cultural, entertainment, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include the National Civil Rights Museum, seven stops on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail, Graceland, the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, the Memphis Zoo, and Beale Street. Clinicians may also explore Fed Ex Forum  for NBA games and live events, the world's longest pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River, and a pyramid housing a Bass Pro Shops with an observation deck.

About the Clinician's Workday  Clinicians will provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight call and 24-hour call on weekends required as a condition of this assignment. The call schedule is structured at a 1:4 ratio, and clinicians are expected to manage approximately 2-3 consults per day in addition to rounding on inpatient cardiology patients.

All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
