Summary Description

This position is responsible for providing professional instructions designed to develop students’ academic, social, physical, and skills development in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Tennessee professional teacher's license. (Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required)

Degree Equivalency Formula

• Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience.
• Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
