Before/After-School Certified Tutor – Memphis–Shelby County Schools

• Responsible for the professional instruction designed to provide academic, social, physical and skill development for students in specified grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers.

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) from an accredited college; or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment Test.
• One (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience.
• Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
