Computer Lab Assistant – Full-Time
Memphis‑Shelby County Schools
OverviewMemphis‑Shelby County Schools is seeking a Computer Lab Assistant to manage the assigned lab for student use. The role supports a national exemplar of education transformation by providing basic computer instruction, maintaining a safe and orderly lab environment, and delivering technical assistance to teachers.
Responsibilities- Provide basic computer instruction to students.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly computer lab environment.
- Offer technical assistance to teachers as needed.
- Apply general supervision and follow statutory procedures for lab management.
- Decide how and when to carry out tasks and solve problems.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree or two (2) years of college (minimum 48 semester hours), or a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment Test.
- One (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred).
