Summary Description
The Before/After‑School Certified tutor is responsible for providing professional instruction designed to deliver academic, social, physical, and skill development for students in specified grades/subject areas. The goal is to prepare them to become successful citizens and workers.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) from an accredited institution.
- Preferred: a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment Test and at least one (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Must possess or be able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience.
- Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
