The Catholic Diocese of Memphis is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our network of Catholic elementary schools for the 2026–2027 school year
. We are building a pool of qualified teachers who are committed to academic excellence and faith-based education for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5.

Elementary teachers in our diocesan schools provide high-quality instruction within a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Teachers integrate Catholic values into all aspects of learning while fostering intellectual curiosity, creativity, and moral development.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with diocesan and state standards.
• Integrate faith formation and Catholic values into daily lessons and classroom activities.
• Create a positive classroom culture that encourages respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
• Assess and monitor student progress; communicate regularly with parents and administrators.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
• Participate actively in professional development and school community life.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid Tennessee teaching license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Practicing Catholic preferred; all candidates must be supportive of the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and student success.
